Off_Grid (2024)
The installation depicts a scenario where human chaos disrupts a systematic world controlled by AI. It will display a conversation between a human and an AI chatbot through prompts and questions, emphasizing how errors caused by autocorrect, misleading typos, and language translation barriers (especially Slang dialect) create vulnerabilities in the AI system. The conversation will focus on existential questions, dark humor, and bureaucratic processes.
This scenario will illustrate how human unpredictability can undermine the stability and efficiency of an AI-controlled world. Amidst this technological dominance, what if there are places where chaos and primitivism shelter humans from this impending fate? Can you disappear completely within such sanctuaries? Can you escape the iron grip of technology? What if, amid this chaos, you unintentionally went off-grid?
