Shadwa Ali is an independent Egyptian Audio & visual artist, Graduated from faculty of fine arts, Alexandria University, Graphic department (Print making) 2012.
Started her career 2010 in Print making (lino-cut), digital print. In 2012 developed her vision and perspective trying to express it visually in different categories of art, It's unlimited and also linked to each other. She's started to merge between traditional, manual techniques and contemporary, digital methods such as sound.
Shadwa’s artistic practice is based on searching and exploring society problems and human psychological issues, their behavior through the daily chaotic routine in capital cities (Cairo-Alexandria), and how when certain events occur, it affects the social and collective memory and their way of interacting with this society. Since she's interested in the chaotic daily routine, noise is one of the most major subjects for her artworks.
Her practice revolves around noticing the mostly unnoticed details in the surrounding environment, investigating , digging, then manipulating that reality which reflects the nonsense and absurdity in that reality.
Shadwa participated in many Exhibitions and workshops of audio & visual arts locally and internationally.

Studied film-making at Jesuit film school at Alexandria, (2016-2017)
Post-graduate in printmaking at faculty of fine arts, Alexandria University, (2012-2013)
